1. I always thought of Guardians of the Galaxy as Marvel's answer not to Star Wars but Roger Corman's Battle Beyond the Stars (in a knowingly, tongue-in-cheek, aim-low sort of way).

2. Black Widow seemed more akin to Captain America: The Winter Soldier, never mind Mission Impossible (I loved both, by the way).

3. If Eternals is akin to Zack Snyder's Justice League, that's a bad sign for me, as saying I'm not a fan of Synder would be an understatement. Still, one must keep an open mind. I'm seeing it next week.
