3D annoys the hell out of me. It ruins colour, contrast, and brightness, and gives me a headache. It's a gimmick as old as cinema itself (with resurgences in the 1950s, 1980s, and more recently of course) , and it has always been just that: a gimmick. If anything, I find it less immersive, not more.
