"A bad film can have a good score." Spielberg's Hook leaps to mind. A magnificent score by John Williams that the rest of the film does not deserve.

Anyway, thank you. Needless to say, I agree, especially regarding what you say about screenwriters. Without a great screenplay, there can be no great film. :)
