A beautiful tribute to a lovely film. It also got me reflecting on my own life. In many ways, "home" for me growing up was so tumultuous (albeit with a good dose of St Louis characteristics, metaphorically speaking) that I wanted to leave it as soon as possible in order to find what I consider "home". Eventually, I found my own idyll, in rural southwest England. When I moved here in 2006, I think I rather went native. It would take an Angel of the Lord to get me out of here now. :)
