…retic’s religious discourse, but Beck and Woods do give the missionaries their chances to respond — Heretic most certainly does not condescend to them or treat them as unintelligent, even if Mr Reed has that tendency — and all three have plenty of opportunities to hint at the emotional undercurrents of these scenes…
