A fascinating article. I think the Force as a concept fits most world religions in one way or another, including Buddhism, and your analysis is very interesting. I tend to look at Star Wars with a more Judeo-Christian mindset, and felt that The Last Jedi was hinting at a reformation of sorts, akin to the Protestant Reformation.
