A fascinating insight into another aspect of your past that by turns had me raging at the injustice of it all, and also delighted at the turn things took in the second half. Great life message too, without an iota of triteness or inauthenticity (you know how cynical I am, so I don't write that glibly). On top of that, it's superbly written ("a grave tenderness stinging like a thousand bees" - I wish I could write that well).
