A hilarious story, but damn... I reckon there ought to be national service in some kind of service job (rather than the army), so people can see just how bloody difficult it is dealing with irate customers lashing out at people who are not to blame. I worked in a supermarket as a Saturday job during my A-level years (UK equivalent of high school years, I think), and it instilled within me a permanent respect for shop workers. As the saying goes, a person who is nice to you but rude to the waiter is not a nice person.
