A Man Called Ove was good, but I've yet to see this American remake. I somehow managed to miss it in cinemas.

As for whether my heroes are old and grey, well, a lot of my heroes are film directors, so yes, some are old and grey. But some are young and in the early stages of a promising career. And some, I should add, are female. The same is true of some of my novelist heroes.

But yes, I take your point about the likes of Clint Eastwood, Tom Hanks, Harrison Ford, etc, being much older now.
