Absolutely agreed. I for one cannot bear the interminable mantras of "my truth", "speak your truth", etc, etc. At a superficial level, such expressions are merely cringe-inducingly ghastly. At a deeper level they have alarming Orwellian potential. Time to nip this nonsense in the bud.
