Agreed.

It all goes back to the essence of character. For T’Challa, Tiana, and many other black characters, the heart of their character is inextricable from their race. It’s bound up in their background, motivations and internal conflicts.
Is It Really the End of the World if the Main Character’s Not White Anymore?
