Agreed. An immensely underrated film that also explores the effect of such actions on the human soul, beyond the political considerations. It's Spielberg's darkest, most self-questioning film, ostensibly about the futility of vengeance, but not in a simplistic way. It is admirable for being fairly balanced (whilst clearly having Israeli interests at heart), but of course that meant the film got it in the neck from both sides upon release. Personally, I think it's superb thriller - one of Spielberg's very finest works.

Also, this makes a great double bill with Oscar-winning documentary One Day in September, which details what happened during the Munich Olympics. Highly recommended. :)
