If you were a student, you could attend a private screening for education purposes, and I was studying film, so our course arranged a screening at one of the local arts centres. But the cinema were told they had to check course IDs beforehand, to ensure everyone attending was on the Media or Film courses. Loads of other people who weren't tried to get in and were duly refused admission.
