All fascinating. The Winnie the Pooh history is a cautionary tale for aspiring authors to ensure they don't drag unintended victims into their quest for immortality. That said, Christopher Robin does strike me as rather a twatbangle.

My favourite Winnie the Pooh story is the one with the Heffalump, by the way. Absolutely hilarious. I only read the original books to my children, and refused to expose them to "Disney the Pooh" (as my father called it).
