All good points. I think there are snippets of the test footage Spielberg saw for Jurassic Park on one of the DVD extras. As for Jaws, again, the mechnical shark malfunctions really worked in his favour in the long run. The shoot was gruelling by all accounts, but the end product speaks for itself.
