All jolly irksome. I am not worried about my film related stills (for reasons I can't be bothered to rehash here, concerning fair use) but this free image site business is concerning. I think the best option in future, if using those sites, is to contact the photographers directly and get their written permission regardless - even if they are listed on free sites. Of course, this is time consuming, but it might be the best choice, outside of using one's own images.
