hane to trap Non, and can kiss so good …heat vision and freezing breath. Simple to keep track of, right? Not to Richard Lester, apparently. In the third act of Superman II, he can teleport and form duplicates of himself, throw his ‘S’ emblem and turn it into cellophane to trap Non, and can kiss so good that he makes Lois forget he was ever Superman.

All silly elements, I agree. I think the Donner version of that final scene in the Fortress of Solitude is better.
