Also, I don't want to see the union broken for this reason: It will massively boost the power of the Conservative party. I have no political allegiance, and believe governments are like nappies - a functional necessity that must be changed regularly, or they stink. Our current government has been in power far too long and is corrupt. We need Labour back - at least for a while, until they in turn become corrupt. I believe in a healthy back and forth in that respect, as politicians are power-crazed. Some of them are better than others, and more resistant to corruption, but in the end, power corrupts them all. It is human nature. That's why governments, and political parties, should be changed regularly.
