Also... The bit where Dreyman says to Hempf near the end: "To think people like you once ran a country..." Just brilliant. No melodrama or histrionics. Just a subtle but scathing condemnation of his corruption.

I felt so, so sorry for Sieland. That scene where the typewriter is discovered, and the look Dreyman gives her... It just broke my heart. I love this film so much, for so many reasons. :)
