Although I preferred Tennant and Smith of the post-2005 doctors, I very much enjoyed Eccleston, and credit him with enormous goodwill for his role in bringing back my favourite television programme after a sixteen year absence - something I never thought I'd see again after 1989 (no, I don't count the 1996 McGann story, as you've probably gathered by now).
