An all authors round-up for my boozing buddies.
Alive: JK Rowling. I know we'd get on.
Dead: CS Lewis. He was a local at the Eagle and Child pub in Oxford (which I have also frequented, alas, many years later), along with Tolkien and others, and was a committed boozer. I have always wanted to talk theology and books with Lewis, especially over booze. Also, I reckon he'd get on with JK Rowling.
Fictional: Bilbo Baggins, who of course chronicled the events contained in both The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. I reckon he'd enjoy the booze too.
