An American former colleague goes to a church where election-was-stolen, vaccine-is-mark-of-the-Beast messages are a regular feature. I know he doesn't agree with any of this, but still goes because his friends and family are there, he has years of history there, etc.

This individual recently lost his mother. She died of Covid, having refused a vaccine. I confess, I didn't much like this individual, but I felt immensely sorry for him when I heard this news. I also felt angry at the needless, stupid loss.
