An excellent balanced article, and one of the reasons why I rate your writing so highly - you never come across as hateful or bitter, but as someone who actually has the church's interests at heart (I use the word "church" in the true sense of the word). The church - and the evangelical church in particular - needs urgent change. But that doesn't mean it is beyond redemption.
