An important point: This film has not been released. No one has seen it yet. Therefore, no one should be offering opinions.

Given Disney's irritating obsession with because-we-can superfluous live action remakes, I daresay it will be crap (leaving aside all this woke-a-cola handwringing). However, we don't know because we haven't seen it. For all we know, it could be a masterpiece. Unlikely, but still a remote possibility. It should be viewed objectively, with an open mind, when the film is released. Until then, everyone needs to damn well pipe down.
