An interesting perspective. Yes, the "weirding module" thing was silly. I have no issue with filmmakers emphasising what is inherently cinematic about Dune (as Villeneuve did) but I just think Lynch was the wrong person to tackle this one (I hugely admire his work elsewhere).

I'm not a fan of Avatar either, for the record. :)
