An opinion: You're better off spending your time watching the back catalogue of directors like David Lean, Stanley Kubrick, Alfred Hitchcock, Akira Kurosawa, Ingmar Bergman, Federico Fellini, Andrei Tarkovsky, Billy Wilder, Martin Scorsese, Powell & Pressburger, Peter Weir, etc, etc. I reckon you'll have a much better time, and they're certainly worth prioritising over the Saw franchise.
