And you know my love of Stone's directorial flair, the great performances in that film (especially Joe Pesci and Tommy Lee Jones), that great John Williams score, etc. Yes, Stone doesn't let the facts get in the way of a damn good conspiracy thriller (I accused my father of being involved as we left the cinema, as Stone had pretty much implicated everyone alive in 1963), but... Well, I confess I still think something still smells a little rotten in Denmark with that Kennedy business. I'll never know for sure, of course, but I struggle to swallow "the magic bullet" (despite the counter-claims, which I have read, I assure you).
