Apocalypse Now I mentioned in the opening - I don't think it matters which version you see (with or without the French plantation sequence, the strippers on the boat, etc, etc).

And great shout for Once Upon a Time in America (there is a terrible US 139 minute version that makes a nonsense of the entire film, but in Europe and the UK, our versions have always been anywhere between 229 minutes and 269 minutes). :)
