As a lifelong Bond fan, my thoughts are this: If Amazon screws with Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson, trying to put pressure on them for more "content" rather than a special occasion Bond movie every two or three years, I hope Barbara and Michael will dig their heels in and resist with every iota of legal power at their disposal. Bond does not need to be milked dry for every damn little spin-off imaginable, and does not lend itself to that kind of insanity. No-one needs "Blofeld Begins" or "Moneypennyvision" or a teenage Bond series Smallville style, or a SPECTRE spin-off, or the story of M's exploits in the field before he/she was promoted. Worse still, Bond doesn't need to be machine-tooled to some idiotic lowest-common-denominator market testing results, politically correcting it to the nth degree. In the words of Margaret Thatcher: "No. No. No."
