As far as I'm concerned, the original Blade Runner is vastly superior visually, aurally, and in thematic depth. Blade Runner 2049 is OK to a point, but I doubt anyone will revere it the same way ten or twenty years from now. In contrast, I reckon the 1982 original film will still be considered a classic.

Also, if you ever get the chance, I urge you to see this properly projected on 35mm or 70mm film prints (you'd need to go somewhere like London to see them this way, alas). Still vastly superior to digital in my not remotely humble opinion. :)
