As I said, I'm not really a fan of Ritchie. Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels I found intermittently entertaining I suppose. Unlike you I did enjoy his Sherlock films though. His freewheeling, grab-gab adaptation approach reminded me of the Basil Rathbone/Nigel Bruce adaptations, which I loved.

Heat is a heist thriller so wouldn't be considered for this list. However, it is a damn good film, I grant you. It would definitely appear on my list of favourite hesit films. Perhaps I'll write that at some point. :)
