As I've said many times: There needs to be legislation in the US making this spamming illegal.

…ad the common courtesy to only ask for $5.00 in his last e-mail (he must know I have cats to feed). I have wondered on several occasions how they manage to keep sending these appeals after I have unsubscribed from a mailing list I never subscribed to in the first place, but some mysteries will never be solved.

As I've said many times: There needs to be legislation in the US making this spamming illegal. Things are generally tighter in the UK and Europe regarding this sort of thing.
