As long as this message isn't delivered in a preachy, condescending, finger-wagging way, I daresay I'll enjoy the book. I must say Corrie, you've had me on quite a rollercoaster with this review. First I felt inclined to refuse to read it, because of the BookTok reference (I loathe all things TwitTok), then I actively wanted to with your description of the novel and your point about trigger warnings, then I felt disinclined in case it was preachy. But obviously I'll read it and make up my own mind now, as it's all been built up too much and I need an opinion on it.
