Because I conform to most other INTJ personality stereotypes (if you're familiar with Myers Briggs), people are often surprised when they find out I love pop music. Yes, I love classical as well (and film scores, obviously), but with pop music, I'm just as much a fan of pop as of "proper bands". Example: My two favourite groups from the 2000 - 2009 period: Girls Aloud and Muse. Couldn't be more different, I know.
