Being aware of how irritating Deadpool is doesn't make him any less irritating. I simply don't find him funny (on the whole - I did laugh occasionally).

As for the film, it thinks it is edgy and satirical. It isn't. It's a corporate product cynically machine-tooled for a particular demographic that emphatically isn't me. That's perfectly fine, but let's not pretend this is anything subversive. Every joke (about Disney, Fox, Kevin Feige, special socks, etc) has been carefully scrutinised and approved by the corporate powers-that-be.
