Blur are my favourite band of the 1990s (well, either them or The Prodigy) and they are far, far more than Song 2. In the UK they had multiple top ten and number one singles - including There's No Other Way, Girls and Boys, Parklife, Country House, Beetlebum, The Universal, Charmless Man, On Your Own, Tender, etc. Their album Parklife, in particular, is a masterpiece.

But yes - this is a damn good track. Just to be contrary, it is song 4, not 2, on my personal compilation of favourite singles from 1997.
