Yes, Abingdon College was once called the College of Further Education.

As for the film industry, I didn't really get into it, other than have a couple of my short films in festivals as a student. I went down a different path after graduating, working in TV scheduling and promotions, whilst simultaneously working on a writing career on the side. I'm now writing full time.
