Dry? It's full of intrigue, surprises, getting immersed in Lucas's world, Luke's heroic yearnings, the mystery of Artoo's message from Leia, the mystery of Obi-Wan Kenobi, the sudden deaths of Luke's uncle and aunt, etc, etc. So much more interesting than anything in The Phantom Menace.
