By the way Andie - just because I consider you delightfully twisted enough in view of your love for Crash, I'm highly recommending two more films:

Sion Sono's Love Exposure (2008). You'll need annual leave to see it (it's four hours long) but I reckon you'll absolutely love it.

Paul Verhoeven's Elle (2016). I think about half the audience stormed out in disgust when I saw it, which just added to the experience. But I found it darkly hilarious and daring in way that I think only Verhoeven - with a lead as talented and brilliant as Isabelle Huppert - could get away with.
