By the way, I don't think there's anything cheesy about Alien, Jaws, or The Silence of the Lambs (give or take a couple of the dodgier shark shots in Jaws). But some of the others on your list, perhaps (though the likes of Lake Placid and Overlord are hugely entertaining). :)
