By the way, I strongly recommend putting Kind Hearts and Coronets to the top of your viewing list. I reckon you'd love it. It is one of my favourite films of all time and (I'd argue) it is the greatest of all the Ealing comedies.
In addition to being bitingly hilarious, it is a scathing condemnation of the British class system, beautifully demonstrating how it punishes virtue and rewards cruelty (without a shred of preachiness but with a surplus of wit).
