Completely agreed. Although I didn't go trick or treating as a child, thanks to a strict evangelical Christian upbringing. My children have done all kinds of Halloween related stuff though.

I feel the same way about Easter Eggs. I remember one year my mother said to me: "You're too old for these now, right?" The look on my face must have said it all, because I never, ever went without again. Also, since being married, my wife and I always made sure we got one another Easter eggs (and for the children too once they came on the scene, of course).
