Funny story: When I saw Paranormal Activity at the cinema, at a packed screening, about ten minutes before the end, a man in maybe his mid to late twenties sitting in front of me suddenly stood up, let out a high pitched squeal of fright, and ran out of the cinema, leaving his (presumably) girlfriend looking a tad embarrassed. Perhaps I shouldn't have found this hilarious, but I did.
