Connery has some great one-liners too ("She should have kept her mouth shut" in From Russia with Love, or "Shocking" in Goldfinger, for instance). He had the perfectly balance between tough, suave, intelligent, and funny, before Roger Moore played it more for laughs and the quips became sillier (though I do like them as well - I'm too silly not to guffaw at "He always did have an inflated opinion of himself" and so forth).
