Despite the various crises in Disney's current management, operations, the way it treats staff, the way it is churning out mediocrity on streaming, and so forth, I agree with your sentiments here.

I'm an unrepentant fan of the finest Disney animated features and indeed live action films. I'll always be profoundly grateful for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Bambi, Fantastia, Dumbo, The Jungle Book, 101 Dalmatians, Mary Poppins, and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, not to mention underrated gems like The Journey of Natty Gann. That's before I even get to the 90s renaissance of The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and so forth. And this century, there have also been wonderful films like Wreck-It Ralph and Tangled (I think it's a mistake for Disney to wholly abandon traditional romantic princess stories, by the way, as I'm a sucker for fairy tale romance when done well, as it is here, contrasted with plenty of adventure and humour).
