Did you see the recent recut version (renamed The Godfather Coda)? I think it's the best version, primarily because it's the shortest, and it removes a decent chunk of the naffer scenes (whilst restoring one particularly gory death that initially got the snip by US censors). But I still don't think it ranks anywhere near its illustrious predecessors.
