The Dillon Empire’s monthly mouthful of Medium magnificence

When it comes to reading articles, the Dillon Empire weighs, measures, and often finds them wanting. Yet here on Medium, tunnelling to find the diamonds among the quartz is proving easier these days. Scammers, hustle-porn bros, and their ghastly ilk seem to have either retreated, or been annihilated by the algorithmic machinations of Tony Stubblebine, in his holy crusade against AI; a crusade wholeheartedly endorsed by the Dillon Empire, which takes a strictly Butlerian Jihad position on such things.

I for one am pleased Stubblebine the Great is making a concerted effort to separate wheat from chaff, casting AI-generated writing back into the fiery chasm from whence it came. On the other hand, this presents a different problem when it comes to the monthly Imperial selection: Too much choice. This is a good problem to have, but it means I have been stricter than ever in what ends up in this monthly top ten. Therefore, the smugness you may experience as a result of recognition by the Dillon Empire may increase proportionally. That is understandable. If chosen, I suggest you revel in the sheer illustriousness of my hallowed seal of approval, for at this time, it means even more than it did before.
