An all Fanfare, all film, Christmas selection of top Medium treats
Since the Dillon Empire has been reliably informed by peer-reviewed scientific data that it is the most wonderful time of the year, the Imperial selection of favourite articles is released early this month, so I can take a bit of a break over the Christmas holidays. Personally, I prefer summer, but Christmas runs a close second for me in terms of general joyousness. Also, rest assured, fresh articles from the Dillon Empire will still be forthcoming during the festive period. But back to the matter at hand.
Once again, the Empire has braved the Medium maelstrom to list ten great articles herein. However, this month, there’s a difference. I’ve decided to specifically highlight Fanfare writers, since Fanfare is the greatest pop culture publication on Medium (that’s also peer-reviewed scientific fact). Earlier this year, the great Sir Eric Pierce, Founder of Fanfare and Knight of the Dillon Empire, headhunted two other Knights of the Dillon Empire, Sir Sarah Paris and Sir Paul Combs (and also yours truly), for editorial duties in said publication. Therefore, I’ve decided on this occasion only, to mix pleasure with pleasure, and give some of our best and brightest at Fanfare full-blown preferential treatment in Dillon Picks.
