Once again, the Dillon Empire is mulling over last month’s internet history. Before dirty minds go there, I don’t mean that kind. I mean the last month of Medium articles read by yours truly. Some of these will make my monthly top ten, but which? It’s always a difficult selection process.

After much handwringing, I’ve finally arrived at these ten. If you are on the list, congratulations. A scintilla of smugness is customary at this point, given the strictness of my criteria. Better than being boosted by Medium? Well, perhaps think of being in Dillon Picks as an Oscar nomination and think of being boosted by Medium as a major box office success. Many Oscar-nominated films don’t necessarily make tons at the box office, but the prestige is undeniable. As for the prestige of being nominated for Dillon Picks, well, I could pretend to suffer from delusions of grandeur, and unironically state it carries as much clout as an Oscar nomination. Perhaps I will. Self-delusion is fun.

For aspiring Dillon Pickers (a term I’ve never used before, and will probably never use again), a reminder on criteria: Firstly, Dillon Picks has a zero-tolerance policy on AI, either in writing or in advocating the use thereof.
