Anyway, yes, I daresay you're right (and I enjoyed the films you mention). Mr Keating still makes for great drama though. And who doesn't love an iconoclast teacher? I certainly do, considering my views on the ridiculously outdated, exam-obsessed, absurdly target-driven school system in the UK. But that's another conversation. :)
